About the Artist

Artist Bio

Farah Niarad is originally from Iran where she earned a master’s degree in art research and a bachelor's degree in English literature. She learned painting from her father who is an outstanding artist. Painting has been her passion for more than 20 years. Since moving to Nova Scotia, Farah has participated in community art events, including Paint the Hydrostone. She was a featured artist in Interiors, Emerging Artists Showcase at 14 Bells Fine Art Gallery in Halifax in June 2023. She has completed several private commissions and has experience teaching art to children and adults.
