The Prow Gallery is the sister gallery of 14 Bells Fine Art Gallery, located in the historic Hydrostone Market in Halifax's North End. The Prow allows our curation team more gallery space to bring quality original art to a booming and vibrant city. Our mandate continues to be supporting working Canadian artists

Cheryl Bell, Owner
Email CherylCheryl has over 20 years of high end retail experience. She started her career with the McCaffery/Pelham family in Banff, Alberta at Canada House Gallery. There she learned to love the quality and diversity of Canadian art. The focus on customer service and professionalism instilled in those early years has served Cheryl well in subsequent careers.
She opened The Prow's sister gallery 14 Bells Fine Art Gallery in 2017. The gallery has gained a reputation for quality art and attentive service and has earned a loyal local and international clientele.
Cheryl and her husband, Ian Thompson live in the Hydrostone District with their baby dog Luna.

Kim Farmer, Manager
Email KimGallery Manager Kim Farmer is dedicated to supporting gallery artists exhibit and sell their work in Halifax and beyond. With over 20 years of experience working in art museums and galleries, Kim is excited to be representing a collection of some of the best artists from Nova Scotia and Canada.
She is a familiar and respected figure in the Halifax art scene. Kim is a graduate of NSCAD, managed Dartmouth's Craig Gallery for many years and was deeply involved in the annual Nocturne Festival.
A native Nova Scotian, Kim lives in Halifax (Kjipuktuk) with her partner and 2 teenagers. Most days, you can find her at The Prow Gallery, or running in the park with best dog North. (Did we mention the gallery is pet friendly?!)
