This original acrylic painting titled: “Ocean Friends” (“Apaqtk Nitaptut”) displays six whale friends exploring Mi’kma’ki(Mi’kmaq Territory) together. They are embracing the spirit of the ocean and each other. Inside the whales are the Mi’kmaq Star, two double curve floral designs, and the Hieroglyph for peace.
