This drum titled the “Island Friendship Drum” displays two salmon (plamu) making a big splash together as they jump into the air. The salmon are embracing their environment, the surrounding culture, and each other. They remind us to support each other, embrace friendship, enjoy the beauty of nature, and shine bright like a Mi’kmaq Star. Msit No’kmaq(All My Relations-We Are All Connected). This drum was completed in 2023.
