From the Ocean Harmony (Apaqtk Wantaqo'ti) Collection (2022)
This original acrylic collage painting titled: “Ocean Family” (“Apaqtk Ni'kmaq”) displays a family gathering of seventeen whale friends exploring Mi’kma’ki(Mi’kmaq Territory) together. They are embracing the spirit of the ocean and each other. Inside the whales are the Mi’kmaq Star, two double curve floral designs, and the Hieroglyph for peace.
